IceMAX UWILD 1st Intermediate Survey

Historically Deep-water Drillers had to stop drilling, go off-hire and/or move off-station to safely complete UWILD Inspections with divers or work-class ROVs, incurring significant cost, operational disruption & losing day-rate revenue. Proceanic has changed all that.

Since 2013, Proceanic has pioneered the use of Mini-ROV’s to complete Class Approved UWILDs while Drilling Vessels remain on station, on full DP and while Drilling. Six years and 100+ cost-effective Offshore Campaigns later, Proceanic is the industry leader in ROV UWILDs having saved $MM for drilling clients.

For the Stena IceMax Drilling Vessel, Proceanic completed GVI of Hull, Moon-Pool, Thrusters and Sea-Chests for the purposes of 1st Intermediate Survey and to DNV-GL satisfaction. Work was successfully completed, offshore Gulf of Mexico while the vessel was on station, on DP and latched up.
