Proceanic, Ltd. Of Houston, TX carried out a proof of concept inspection of a spud can of the E81 Jackup.

One ABS surveyor was present to witness the inspection. The intent of the inspection was to carry out visual examination of both the exterior and interior of the spud can to determine the viability of using a mini-ROV.
